Story was good, although the Author refused to give a name to any of his characters, which I found quite frustrating. Aside from this, though, I enjoyed it and look forward to the next book.
The best I can say is that it was okay. To me it seemed like three short stories rather than one cohesive novel, and Stephen King has a tendency to lapse into flashbacks, which I find quite annoying. I wanted the story to be rooted in the presence instead of obsessed with the past. Still, I enjoyed it in the end.
I tried to read this back in 2011 and hated it. Just recently went and listened to the audio book and enjoyed it a lot more. But ugh, it is flashback heavy. And if you really think about it, nothing much really happens in this book. I mean, its good, but I wish it remained more in the present.
